How sweet are the hopes and the pleasures of youth, Ere misfortune has blighted their springs to the heart, Ere the seeds of suspicion, and envy, and art, Have supplanted the feelings of candour and truth!   In life's joyous morning, how glowing, how bright, Are the dreams of the future--by Fancy inspired! Like bubbles, that ere they are form'd have expired, So vanish its sorrows, as transient, as light.   But soon, oh! too soon, must these feelings decay, The storms of the world they can never survive; And alas! when once gone they can never revive To soothe or to brighten life's desolate way!

Para sa Kabataan ng Sambayanan ni Rico Dimapilis

     Isa akong kabataang bulakenyo na tumutugon sa hamon ng panahon, tumatawid sa landasing makadios may sariling pagpapasya sa lalong ikabubuti ng buhay’t ikakaganda ng lipunang ating ginagalawan.
     Bilang kabataan ng kasalukuyang henerasyon nais ko makaukit ng isang pilas sa kasaysayan sa darating na panahon upang ang binhi ng kabataan ay patuloy na yumabong at magdulot ng patuloy na paglilingkod sa Dios at lalo na higit sa dakilang Diosesis ng Malolos sa ano mang uri o kaparaanan.
     Nais ko magsumikap habang ang mga mata ko’y dumidilat sa umaga, upang ang bawat kabataan ng Diosesis ay mamuhay si Kristo sa kanilang puso’t isipan.
Habang malayo pa ang aking lalakbayin’t tatahakin sa mundong ito,marami pag makakadaupang palad, hanggat patuloy na iikot ang daigdig,iisa lang ang minimithi kong dalangin ang “magsimula sa kabataan ang walang hanggang pananampalataya”.
    Para sa Kabataan ng ating sambayanan panalangin kong itoy hindi magmamaliw.Dumating man ang araw na kalimutan ako ng mundo, ninanais kong sambit kong winika’y  tuwi tuwinay makarating hanggang langit.

Saint Sebastian

Soldier and martyr of faith!

Biography
Sebastian preferred the fidelity to Christ before any civil or military honor and, therefore, was expelled from the army and died on the persecution of Diocletioan on 300. We can see highlighted in the life of the saint his courage and his love to the Lord Jesus. The WYD invoke him as a soldier and martyr of Faith!

Prayer
May your intercession me the grace to obey God more than man and to be a soldier of Christ. Amen.

Friend to the youth!

Biography
Pope John Paul II, the Great, was the creator of the World Youth Day, in 1984. Considered as the Pope of the Youth, he worked in the dialogue with them, and he invited them to recognize their place and mission inside the Church. His pontificate was durable and he helped to guide the Christians, based on the inspirations of Vatican II. He fought until the last moment of his life sharing with us his happiness to give himself to Christ and to our Lady, the Virgin Mary. We invoke him as the friend of the youth!

Grant me, through your intercession, the grace to win the hearts of true friends like you were to young people! Amen.

World Youth Day

In 1984 the International Jubilee for the Young was celebrated by John Paul II in St. Peter’s Square in a celebration that also marked the close of the Holy Year of Redemption. At this gathering the Holy Father entrusted youth with what is now known as the World Youth Day (WYD) Cross - one of the most important symbols of WYD.

The UN declared 1985 the first “International Youth Year” and to celebrate it the Holy Father welcomed youth from all over the world in Rome on Palm Sunday. In December of the same year he announced the institution of World Youth Day. It is celebrated annually at the diocesan level on Palm Sunday in Rome and at a week-long event internationally every two to three years.

Oh, Father, You sent Your Eternal Son to save the world and chose men and women, through Him, with Him and in Him, to proclaim the Good News to all nations. Grant us the graces necessary so that joy may shine in the faces of all young people, the joy of being, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the evangelists the Church needs in the Third Millennium.

Oh Christ, Redeemer of humanity, the image of Your open arms on the top of Corcovado welcomes all people. In Your paschal offering, You brought us by the Holy Spirit to an encounter of sonship with the Father. Young people, who are fed by Eucharist, hear You in Your Word and meet You as their brother, need your infinite mercy to run the paths of the world missionary-disciples of the New Evangelization.

Oh Holy Spirit, Love of the Father and the Son, with the splendor of Your Truth and the fire of Your Love, send Your Light to all young people so that, driven by their experience of World Youth Day, they may bring to the four corners of the world faith, hope and charity, becoming great builders of a culture of life and peace and catalysts of a new world.

Minsan sa buhay ng tao mayroon tayong nais tuparin at pangarap na pipiliting maabot ng palad, minsan iilan lang ang nakakaabot ng mga ito mga taong humaharap sa buhay araw araw na may masidhing pananampalataya sa Diyos lalo na yaong naniniwala sa panalangin at magagawa nito sa buhay ng tao.

Tignan nyo yang batang nasa larawan punong puno ng pag-asa sana bawat isa sa atin lalo na ang mga kabataan na magsumikap abutin ang pangarap at maglingkod sa simbahan at sa bayan.

Almighty and ever-living God, source of life and goodness, you are Our Father who never ceases to guide us. In you we find strength to carry on our life's journey. With you, we see reason and meaning when things seem void and hopeless.

Look with mercy and love upon Ivan Rolfe, your servant, who dedicated his entire life in serving you and others. As he walk in the valley of death, may he find your rod and staff ever comforting
and assuring that your kingdom is at hand.

Grant us all, especially Ivan's family, the understanding that distance is not separation but connection of the spirit, which is
eternally pure and consoling.

Never allow us to be overcome by despair as we continue our journey, but join hands in prayer for Ivan's eternal repose and peace, ever hopeful that he is with you in heaven.

and in the maternal care of Mary, Our Mother.

Sto Nino Exhibit ng Sub-Parish Commission on Youth

Ang buwan ng Enero ay dakilang kapistahan ng batang Hesus o Sto Nino sa wikang kastila. Ang Komisyon ng Kabataan ng Sub- Parish ng Calantipay ay nagkaroon ng aktibidades sa buwang ito isa na rito ang pagkakaroon ng Munting Santo Nino Exhibit’13 na ginanap sa kainang bahagi ng bisita noong Enero 6 hanggang 10 ng taong kasalukuyan, binuksan ang exhibit pagkatapos ng banal na misa ng ika 4 ng hapon sa pangugunan ng ating Kura Paroko Rev. Fr. Larry Benedictos.
Katulong ng kabataan ang mag Camarero o nangangalaga ng mga imaheng pagkatoliko  na nagmula pa sa lungsod ng Malolos, ilan sa mga imahen na nakiisa ay ang Dulce Nobre Nino Jesus del Passion de Santa Isabel, Dulsicimo Nombre Jesus de Dormido de Santor, Nino Jesus del Pastor, Santo Nino delas Flores de Calantipay  at Santo Nino del Carmen.
Sa pakikiisa at pagtutulungan ng pamunuan ng kabataan at Sangguniang Pastoral ang Munting Exhibit ay matagumpay na naidaos, nakalikom din ang Kabataan ng pondo para magamit sa mga adhikain ng komisyon upang mapagpatuloy ang paghubong sa kabataan na maglingkod.
